Who We Are....
Christ the King is a downtown church that desires to live out the Christian life in deep community with one another in Cincinnati’s urban core. We belong to the Baptist Association of Greater Cincinnati, and our local sponsoring church is Sonrise Community Church. We are also members of the Acts 29 Network.

About Our Name

The Good News of the Bible is that Jesus is the true King who is advancing his kingdom through his church. The church exhibits his rule not by political power or forced indoctrination, but rather by obeying his word, the Bible, and committing ourselves to lovingly serve God, our church, our neighbors, and our city.

Leadership

Michael and Laura Clary have served on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ for 7 years at the University of Louisville, KY. Michael has been a part of the staff of another church plant, Fellowship Church in Louisville. He has been a worship leader for more than a decade. He also has an M. Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Laura is a Registered Nurse who currently works from home raising their three children.

Christ the King Church is also served by a team of interns. Doug Shell is a pastoral intern, Nicole Gallo and Ryan Kupiec are outreach interns, and David Counsell is a worship intern.
