Urban Cincinnati Church | Beliefs

We are a Baptist community in the Reformed Tradition. In other words, we believe that God is ultimately in control of the universe and his church is governed locally. We also subscribe to the historic confessions of the faith.

Many hundreds of years ago, when the Christian church was still in its infancy, the early church fathers used the Holy Scriptures to put together a summary of our beliefs, which were formalized into statements called creeds. As the ages have passed, literally millions of Christians have affirmed these creeds and spoken them as an affirmation of their belief in these basic tenets of the Christian faith.

Christ the King Church is in total agreement with these classic confessions of the faith:
